Rice Motors is a family run business which has been in operation for the past 5 years, brothers Ian and Mark Rice are the Directors with sister Shelly Dempsey as Financial Controller.
Together Ian and Mark have combined Dealership experience spanning over 30 years in the motor industry.
Coming from a New Car background working for one of the largest Toyota/Mitsubishi dealers in Australia both Ian & Mark worked their way through the ranks to Management levels before embarking on their life long dream of one day owning their own Dealership.
Even though it’s only been 5 years since they opened for business, the 2 boys have already opened their second dealership over 3 years ago and have now officially opened their third dealership which is located at 470 Parramatta Rd Strathfield. This is a fantastic testament to the dedication and hard work that Ian and Mark have put into their business since it’s inception.
With the intention of further expanding in 2009 and their Code of Ethics in the Motor Industry, Rice Motors have again been awarded the most Prestigious Award in the Industry as 2008 MTA (Motor Traders Association) “MEMBER OF THE YEAR”. Rice Motors has also been awarded the 2006 MTA USED CAR DEALER OF THE YEAR and 2005 MTA “METROPOLITAN MEMBER OF THE YEAR”. There are approx 6,500 MTA Members and affiliates in NSW which incorporate New Car Dealers, Used Car Dealers, Mechanical Workshops, Body Shops, Smash repairs and many many more divisions. As a result of their dedication to their customers and the industry and an impeccable reputation that can only simply be admired by their peers, the MTA again chose Rice Motors for the No.1 award being the 2008 MTA “MEMBER OF THE YEAR”.
